A passionate team working towards
creating sustainable impact

Who we are

Since its inception, ICICI Foundation has designed developmental ecosystems that solve problems in livelihood, environment conservation, healthcare and skill development sectors. This ground-up change involved empowering SHGs, producer organisations and small-scale entrepreneurs to run a nano or micro enterprise profitably. Initially, we designed business ecosystems that bridge the technical and managerial knowledge and skill gap between rural and developed markets through the value chains. As these micro-enterprises projects evolved, stabilised and became profitable, we deduced that the next growth spurt in rural India will come from - the disruptive and powerful force of start-ups.

Socially conscientious start-ups will create more than a paradigm shift. They will create unique perspectives on fundamental rural problems, incorporate new approaches, create radical products and establish new services addressing rural socio-economic concerns. Therefore, we are determined to boost these start-ups to a sustainable level.
